Robin Essex - Senior Pastor
Pastor Robin Essex is the Senior Pastor at TramwayCF. He is married to Mirjana, who is Albanian, and they have 2 daughters, Ruth and Lydia. He has been in ministry for the past 30 years, which includes 10 years as a missionary, 3 years in Albania where he met his wife and 7 years in Kosovo. He came to the UK in June 2007 and for almost 7 years he was a part of the leadership team in Southport (Elim) - Lakeside Christian Fellowship. There he mainly worked with the migrant community, and established an English language school. Over the years he has worked with children/youth and pastoral ministry.
In May 2014 he moved to Edmonton and became the lead Pastor at TramwayCF.
His passion is to reach the community for Jesus Christ. To have a fellowship where people can come and meet with God and have a life changing experience. His desire is to see people set free and empowered to live free and full lives in Jesus Christ.
Jonathan Rowland - Elder
Jonathan Rowland is married to Jessie and they have 3 sons. He has been at TramwayCF since 2010 and has been actively involved in the leadership under previous Pastor and current. He is the Youth Director and the Music Director of TramwayCF where he plays keyboard and saxophone. Elder Rowland has a heart for God’s people and for true unrestricted praise and worship. He is the originator of Time2Worship which is held 3 / 4 times a year. Amongst other things he has his own business called MyChurch.Events Limited whereby he advertises Christian and Church events internationally. Luke Adeniran - Elder
Luke Adeniran has been in Tramway Christian Fellowship since 1999 and he refers to the fellowship as his spiritual home. He is an Elder in the Church, and works as part of the team in the OneWay Youth Club at TramwayCF. He also is part of the praise and worship team at TramwayCF and as well as singing Sunday to Sunday he also leads a numer of times in the year including ministering during Time2Worship events. Elder Adeniran is a sound engineer at TramwayCF and works on the PA system during services and during special events TramwayCF holds. He also preaches during a Sunday service throughout the year, and also teaches at Bible study on Wednesday evenings many times throughout the year.
Nick Mukuna - Elder & Founder of DRC Children First
Nick Mukuna has been serving the Lord for more than 20 years. Nick has been commissioned by the Lord to encourage the body of Christ to walk in love and unity in order to fulfil the mission of the church, which is to proclaim the good news to those in darkness. Having preached in many different churches in the past, Nick is convinced that the local church is the base and the centre from where God blesses His people and the community. That is why he places more emphasis on Love and unity in the local church. Nick is called to serve the body of Christ internationally but he is currently serving on the leadership team at Tramway Christian Fellowship as an elder. This is also where his family attend.
Roy Banton (B.Th) - Elder
Elder Roy has been at TramwayCF for many years and has been actively involved in the leadership team. He has a heart for evangelism and currently heads up that department. He was also involved in the stewarding team. Elder Roy preaches throughout the year at TramwayCF. He also is currently a Lecturer in 'Christian Doctrine and Personal Evangelism'
Jean James - Deaconess
'Aunty Jean' has been in TramwayCF from around when it first was founded. She is a qualified teacher and has a massive heart to teach and support the children of
TramwayCF about Christ. 'Aunty Jean' does this week by week by being active in this by teaching Sunday School and heading FEAST (TramwayCF's Children's Friday Night Club). Deaconess Jean also sets up
a number of children's programmes such as during some school breaks she holds holiday club's which are well attended. She is also TramwayCF's lead steward.
Charles Ssembatya - Deacon
Deacon Charles is married with two children and has been at TramwayCF since 2003. He has a heart for God's people and serves as the Deputy Lead Steward. His desire is to see God's people trusting and believing in His ability to do ALL things as we all are reminded in Jeremiah 32:27 - "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh is anything too hard for me?" Deacon Charles puts that scripture into practice and is seen on the streets of Edmonton delivering a huge amount of church flyers to the local community!
